Canada agrees to allow 49,000 Chinese electric vehicles into the market

Carney said at a press conference held in the Chinese capital: "Canada agrees to allow up to 49,000 Chinese electric vehicles to enter the Canadian market, subject to a Most-Favored-Nation tariff rate of 6.1%."

Carney told reporters: "This is equivalent to returning to the level before recent trade friction."
