Japanese classic anime copyright holders can't sit still anymore
The Japan Anime Film Culture Association has officially issued a statement:
Severely questioning ByteDance Japan TikTok company!
"Using materials without any authorization and arbitrarily modifying them seriously infringes on the rights of creators!"
What's next? How will ByteDance respond? Limit generation? Ban anime styles involved?
Hollywood organizations jointly criticize and boycott Seedance 2.0!
Recently, ByteDance's new AI model Seedance 2.0 has gone viral online! Because its deepfake technology is too realistic, it has been wildly used and promoted by netizens, which has caused dissatisfaction among Hollywood organizations, including the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and the Directors Guild of America, as part of the "Human Art Movement" organization, together with the Motion Picture Association condemned the AI model released by ByteDance (the parent company of TikTok).
The Human Art Movement organization stated in a statement: "The release of Seedance 2.0 is an attack on all creators around the world. It steals the works of human creators and tries to replace them with AI-generated garbage, which is destructive to our culture: stealing is not innovation."
"These unauthorized deepfakes and voice cloning of actors infringe on the most basic aspects of personal autonomy and should raise deep concern among everyone. Authorities should use all legal means to stop this large-scale theft."
