Lithuania plans to build a 1 billion euro defense line to counter security threats

Lithuania has proposed the construction of a 1 billion euro "Grand Duke Vitautas Defense Line" along the border with Russia and Belarus.

According to DELFI, the conservative "Homeland Union Party" suggested deploying anti-personnel mines, anti-tank trenches, mobile armored forces, and long-range artillery systems to address potential security threats.

Europe is strengthening strategic defense construction, and the three Baltic states have entered the highest state of combat readiness.
