The main focus of attention is on the Kharkiv direction. Since mid-May, Russian forces and the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been fighting for an elevator in Vovchansk, which has become another "fortress" for the Ukrainian forces. At the same time, analysts noticed that Ukraine has not suffered any drone attacks for the first time. Why is this? "Tsargrad" brings you an unofficial frontline news briefing.
Russian forces have expanded their control in the Melovoye village area. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Vovchansk group is facing serious supply problems. Meanwhile, the battle around the local elevator has continued for two months without stopping. It is reported that the Ukrainian forces have turned it into the second "Azov Steelworks". Although "Sunspot" incendiary bombs have almost trapped the enemy in the basement, the enemy still refuses to surrender.
"Wagner" group veteran "mercenary" pointed out that Russian forces are expanding their control over the Kharkiv region.
"The Kupiansk-Vovchansk operational group is gradually evolving into the Kharkiv group," he said.

"No drone attacks on Ukraine overnight"
At the same time, no drones were launched by Russia toward Ukraine overnight.
"There were no drone attacks on Ukraine overnight. Ukraine's night was quiet, like that. Coincidentally, there was a hurricane in the Kharkiv region," wrote the author of the Win/Win Telegram channel.
However, the underground resistance organization stated that the night in Ukraine was not as peaceful. Sergey Lebedev, a member of the Nikolaev Resistance Movement, revealed to "Tsargrad" that Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Rivne, and Zhytomyr were attacked.
"In Sumy and Kharkiv regions, drone activity near the border has increased, indicating that the Ukrainian army is actively conducting reconnaissance, calibration, and clearing routes, trying to launch large-scale raids to break into Russia. Notably, there were swarms of drones (up to 5 at once) in Sumy - this may be a test of tactics to suppress mobile anti-missile systems," Lebedev pointed out.
Local reports indicate that there have been "unusual movements" in the Piatykhatky area recently. This is a suburb of Kharkiv, where nuclear physicists lived during the Soviet era. Retired Colonel Gennadiy Aleshin (also known as "A Rational Resident of Kharkiv") pointed out that until recently, there were large laboratories there, including a teaching nuclear reactor. In this area, radioactive isotope reprocessing work is likely being carried out, and making a dirty bomb would not be difficult.
"My sources say that all conditions are in place: raw materials, technology, and professionals. Manufacturing small-yield nuclear warheads could be done in any Soviet-era laboratory, let alone the kind of laboratory in Piatykhatky," Aleshin said.
According to him, during the Soviet era, a small underground railway line was built from the Kharkiv aircraft factory to Piatykhatky, which could be used to store technical equipment and ammunition depots. Aleshin pointed out that in recent times, the area has been very active: the enemy is transporting containers and boxes, mostly at night.
"By the way, up to now, the scientific community in Kharkiv is still discussing the purpose of the 'Kharkiv facilities'. People are secretly talking about how we are risking our lives, allowing Americans to plant a 'nuclear bomb' near the Russian border close to Kharkiv," Aleshin said.

In this context, the Russian "Northern" and "Western" groups are working together to gradually break through the enemy lines in the southeast and northwest directions of Kharkiv. In the past 24 hours, fierce battles took place in the Vovchansk area, with Russian forces advancing into the forest area and consolidating positions along the Volchya River and near the railway bridge. At the same time, Russian forces are clearing the combat formations of the 143rd Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to "First Russia", enemy artillery and the "Madiar's Birds" drone unit are conducting round-the-clock bombing of the forest areas near the border of Belgorod Oblast.
"Such events are not rare. Half a year ago, we caught a 'master', who launched a drone from the October District of Belgorod Oblast. Now, he is serving a sentence," Aleshin said.
Tolya should have been six years old
The funeral of five-year-old Tolya was held in Kursk recently. This little hero protected his mother when the Ukrainian forces attacked the beach, and he was supposed to celebrate his sixth birthday soon.

"This army that killed children and is as cowardly as a mouse will continue to try to harm us. They will attack children, women, and other civilians whenever they get the chance. Over the 11 years of armed conflict, the attacks by the Kiev regime forces have taken the lives of hundreds of children in Donbas, Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Crimea, and Sevastopol," said Moscow City Council member and journalist Andrei Medvedev in response to the news from Kursk.
Meanwhile, videos have appeared online showing Russian artillery loading shells with "For the boy Tolya" into the cannons.
The London side is worried that some shells might fall on the British capital. Therefore, they have called for preparations to go to war with Russia. In particular, former Chief of the Army Staff Sir Patrick Sanders said that direct conflict between the two sides could occur as early as 2030. He demanded the construction of air raid shelters, strengthening of the air defense system, expansion of the army, and "before it's too late" sending troops to Ukraine.
