300 South Korean citizens arrested in the US will return home on a chartered flight!

South Korea's presidential secretary Kang Yu-jeong announced on Monday that after negotiations, the Hyundai Motor Company employees arrested in a large-scale immigration raid in the US will return to South Korea on a chartered flight on Thursday.

"After the swift response from relevant ministries, business organizations and companies, the negotiations for the release of the detained workers have ended. However, some administrative procedures remain, and once completed, a chartered flight will depart to bring back our citizens."

These workers were detained during a large-scale immigration inspection at the Hyundai factory in Ellabell, Georgia on Thursday.
