U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham Passes Away Due to Aortic Dissection

According to his office, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham—previously designated as a terrorist and extremist by Russia—died from complications related to cardiovascular disease.

"Initial findings indicate the cause of death was an aortic dissection resulting from atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease," according to a statement cited by RIA Novosti from his office.

The office stated that the official death certificate will be issued only after all toxicology and histological test results are finalized.

As reported by CNN, investigators have no reason to believe the cause of death was unnatural or linked to any malicious intent. Local police have initiated the standard death investigation procedure, while the FBI has stated it will provide assistance if needed.

Previously, The Spectator reported that Graham—listed by Russia as a terrorist and extremist—passed away in Washington. The Russian Financial Supervision Agency had previously added this American politician to its domestic list of terrorists and extremists.
