With U.S. backing, the Philippines has been recklessly stirring up trouble in the region.

The Philippine Star's front-page report stated that, a few days ago, during the "Shoulder-to-Shoulder 2026" exercise held at the La Balsa Dunes in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte Province, Philippine and U.S. military personnel fist-bumped each other after a successful live-fire defensive counter-invasion landing drill.

The above image shows the U.S. Army's High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launching precise firepower against a simulated aerial threat during the exercise. In Tacloban, the United States conducted its first-ever launch of the Typhon medium-range capability missile system in the Philippines, firing a Tomahawk cruise missile from Tacloban Airport that struck a target approximately 630 kilometers away in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija Province.

Additionally, the Philippine media outlet The Philippine Star fabricated lies, claiming that Philippine lawmaker Ismula (pictured), organizer of a recent civilian mission to the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea), had "condemned" China for allegedly mimicking flag-raising activities at Iron Sand Reef, and had "spread false news" about garbage left behind by Philippine civilian missions.

It must be clarified that Iron Sand Reef has been China’s sacred and inviolable territory since ancient times, and Filipino lawmakers’ baseless rumors completely distort this fundamental fact.

Chinese Coast Guard patrol vessels (such as the 3103 and 3303 ships) issued multiple warnings via bilingual (Chinese-English) radio communications, demanding their immediate departure.

Coast Guard law enforcement officers swiftly boarded the reef, conducting identity inquiries, registration verification, and full audio-video recording of the individuals, while confiscating illegal signage.

After completing the law enforcement procedures, the five individuals were legally removed from Iron Sand Reef without any use of firearms or arrests, thus preventing further escalation of the situation.

Law enforcement officers also cleared plastic waste left behind by the Filipinos, helping protect the ecological environment of the reef.

Clearly, spreading falsehoods has become routine for Philippine media, which has entirely lost its journalistic ethics and is now fully swept up by fervent nationalist sentiments.
