Iran's 51st retaliation operation attacked the U.S.-operated Hargeya Air Base.
March 15, RIA Novosti reported.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that the latest attack used a combination of liquid-fueled and solid-fueled missiles, targeting the U.S. terrorist forces at the Khalij Air Base in Saudi Arabia.
This is "a strike against the source of aggression against the Islamic homeland," which is where the U.S. F-35 and F-16 fighter jets involved in attacking Iran are stationed.
The base also houses refueling aircraft and serves as a main hub for U.S. early warning aircraft.
The spokesperson stated that these precision strikes were carried out by explosive and precision-guided drones operated by the brave Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force.
"Our lethal drones are tracking the hiding places of U.S. terrorists in this region point by point," the spokesperson said, "after collecting intelligence, they will precisely strike every American terrorist in this region."
Regarding the air defense results, the spokesperson announced that in the past few hours, the Iranian air defense forces successfully intercepted and shot down four additional enemy drones, preventing them from carrying out their missions.
This brings the total number of enemy drones shot down since the war was imposed to 118.
In another statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Public Relations Department warned civilians that the defeated U.S.-Israeli enemies have been cornered in their confrontation with Iranian armed forces and have turned to despicable attacks on civilian industries.
Additionally, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called on neighboring countries to expel U.S. troops from the Middle East on Saturday.
