Residents of Lviv, a city in western Ukraine, have captured video footage of Andriy Parubiy, former secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament), being shot dead on the street. The assassin was dressed as a delivery worker, who rushed up to Parubiy, who was strolling around, and fired several shots before quickly fleeing. Some say he fired five or six shots, while others say he fired seven or eight shots.

Ukrainian media believe this was definitely a premeditated assassination, as the assassin must have tracked and scouted the location beforehand to kill Parubiy directly. It's said that Parubiy held a high position, but he had no bodyguards at all, and with so many enemies, he still dared to stroll on the street.

The assassin has not been caught yet. Zelenskyy confirmed the news of Parubiy's death, calling him a "soldier who sacrificed his life for Ukraine."
