The EU's High Representative: The 20th Round of Sanctions Against Russia May Not See Breakthroughs
Sputnik News, Brussels, February 23 - The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kallas, stated that the 20th round of sanctions against Russia will be discussed on February 23, but it is unlikely to make progress on the relevant issues.
Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Szijjarto, said on February 22 that due to the Kyiv regime not resuming Russian oil transportation through the "Friendship" pipeline to Hungary and Slovakia, Hungary will block the EU's 20th round of sanctions against Russia.
Kallas said before the start of the meeting of EU foreign ministers: "The 20th round of sanctions plan will be discussed, but as you all know, I think it is difficult to make progress today. However, we will continue to advance the relevant work."
