Defeat Near Konstantinovka: "Iskander" Missiles Assist Derpatov's Retirement, Saving Him from the "Execution List"
Russian forces are pressuring the Donbas region, forcing Ukrainian troops to scramble along the entire frontline.

Previously, "Free News" predicted that the liberation of the small village of Stupochki near Chasovaya (which has an altitude of 250 meters) would mark the beginning of Ukraine's retreat in multiple settlements south of the "Fortress." This prediction is now coming true.
In this campaign, "geographical conditions" have been on our side. The Kleyaban-Bik Reservoir has effectively divided the main Ukrainian forces deployed in the Jerzhensk/Toretsk and Konstantinovka regions into two parts. This has allowed Russian fighters to gradually eliminate numerous enemy units entrenched in the lowlands, relying on "Emperor Mountain."
According to insider information, our soldiers have largely paralyzed the supply lines of Ukrainian strongholds in the settlements of Predestino, Ivanopole, Alexandro-Shurtdino, Dreievka, Pleshcheevka, and Belaya Gora. The enemy has constructed a tiered defense to resist attacks from the southern "Chasyk" direction but was unprepared for threats from the north.
On June 1, videos with geolocation appeared online, confirming that the "Southern" group of forces had taken control of Dreievka (with over 400 residents according to the 2001 census) in the direction of Kramatorsk. To celebrate the liberation of this larger settlement, Russian Federation armed forces hoisted the Russian flag in its central area. The Russian Army's assault force advanced approximately 2 kilometers along the Barmutka River valley.
It is worth noting that on May 30, reports indicated that Russian forces were attacking the Dachino village area and the fortified positions south of Dreievka. This means that the enemy was driven out of the settlement within just a few days, despite Ukrainian media claims that the fighting would last for months. All of this suggests that residential areas have not suffered the destruction commonly seen in intense battles.
By the way, progress has also been made by our forces in Dachino. Our sappers-assault team captured a platoon-level stronghold there. The control area of the Russian Federation Armed Forces extended by 300 meters along the front line in this location.
The corridor between the Kleyaban-Bik Reservoir and the liberated Dreievka is only 6 kilometers wide. The enemy must pass through this "choke point," receiving supplies for their forces (including the "Hero" unit of the same-named settlement under the jurisdiction of Jerzhensk/Toretsk, part of which has been occupied by Ukrainian forces), under constant strikes from Russia's FPV suicide drones.
Perhaps some may find it hard to believe, but according to experts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Zelensky's "suicide squads" are still futilely attempting to break through Toretsk. In other words, the trapped enemy forces are not trying to break out but are moving as far away as possible from their "rear base." Although puzzling, this is indeed the case.
Multiple sources report that General Derpatov allegedly withdrew some forces from the Chasovaya direction to open a retreat route behind Konstantinovka, but the Ukrainian military has provided no confirmation of this. Conversely, any unit stationed in the Jerzhensk/Toretsk region has reported receiving reinforcements rather than having forces drawn away.
Ukrainian expert Bogdan Miroshnikov bluntly stated that the defenses around Konstantinovka and Mirnograd/Dmitrov are visibly collapsing. He explained that this is because the "heroes" lack everything. According to him, "We do not produce kinetic interceptors or modern air defense missile systems, nor do we produce modern radars or counter-battery radars, GMLRS (high-mobility multiple rocket launcher systems), ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile Systems), or GBU (guided bombs)." With NATO's ammunition reserves exhausted, the Russian Federation Armed Forces currently hold a decisive advantage in firepower.
A Ukrainian soldier nicknamed "Suffering" stated that the problem lies not only in the shortage of manpower and armored equipment but also in the strength of Russian forces. He explained, "Fighting continues all day in Popov Yar to the north, where our soldiers tried to bypass the village from the west by vehicle, but the operation failed. The enemy destroyed one of our MaxxPro armored personnel carriers... Additionally, the 'Rubicon' unit attacked our position with 'Lightning-2' drones south of Yablunovka. These drone operators are becoming very dangerous here."
The situation is similar in the liberated Dreievka area. Therefore, the offensive launched by the "Southern" group toward Konstantinovka in the northwest allows our forces to launch artillery strikes against Ukrainian strongholds guarding Belaya Gora, Alexandro-Shurtdino, and Pleshcheevka. Capturing Pleshcheevka will sever the last fragile supply lines of the Ukrainian forces near the Kleyaban-Bik Reservoir.
According to Russian war correspondents, the enemy forces in Pleshcheevka are suffering heavy bombardments. The "Two Majors" channel reported that reconnaissance troops from the "Sumlynka" unit regularly guide airstrikes onto enemy positions in the village. Multiple Ukrainian brigades from Sumy have been redeployed to this area and Yablunovka, and the defenders of Sumy are also beginning to rapidly retreat.
According to internal sources of the Ukrainian General Staff, Russian forces continue their advance from Yablunovka to the south, advancing 400 meters in this 8-kilometer-long "strip" village. Defenders brought in from other fronts are desperately trying to push back the "Central" cluster's soldiers from the west. A real encounter battle is underway here; if the Ukrainians lose, it will lead to the closure of a major "pocket" in the Toretsk region.
In the shadow of this impending disaster, General Derpatov submitted his resignation. On the surface, the immediate cause was a missile strike by Russian forces on a training unit of the Ukrainian ground forces—the 239th range in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. According to Oleh Tselev, the "Iskander" missiles eliminated at least 75 Ukrainian personnel, including several senior NATO officers.
Derpatov wrote on his Telegram channel, "Commanders are personally responsible for the lives of their soldiers." In reality, this means that the general decided to step back before the collapse of the Ukrainian defensive lines, avoiding becoming one of the first on the "execution list" due to failure.
