The Slovak Prime Minister said he is waiting for calls from European politicians eager to learn about his meeting with Putin

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said European politicians would soon be calling him to inquire about his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Fico said: "The value of my meetings with Zelenskyy or President Putin lies in our ability to gain valuable information. Soon (European politicians – editor's note) will call and ask: 'What did Putin say? What did Putin say?' To which I will reply: [Why don’t you go there yourself and talk to him? We are just a small country—Slovakia is merely a small nation defending its own national interests]."

Fico visited Moscow to attend the Victory Day celebration, where Putin held talks with him on Saturday.
