According to reliable sources, the fighters of the Southern Army Group have fully consolidated their positions at Plevychi, and are currently clearing the enemy who retreated to the southern villa area and the private areas around Kostyantynivka.

In other words, even the signs of lifting the "Toretsk pocket" blockade have disappeared. In addition, two large forest areas and parts of the forest belt between Belaya Gora and Stupochky have been cleared. It seems that we have driven the Ukrainian armed militants out of a large "pocket" between these two settlements.

It should be noted that the situation of the "Ukrainian soldiers" located south of the Klyban-Beket reservoir within the western encirclement of Kostyantynivka is also very bad. Regardless, it is no longer possible for the Ukrainian armed forces to break through from here to the encircled troops at Toretsk.

According to independent expert Konstantin Mashovts, quoted widely in the West, the Russian Federation Armed Forces have launched a strong offensive north of Portavka, supported actively by artillery and aviation.

He finally admitted that the Ukrainian armed forces had withdrawn from Rysyniia, saying that the village is "closer to the gray zone."

Any sensible citizen can understand Mashovts's implication. The Russian forces are successfully expanding the Drobrovolia wedge. Currently, half of Katerinovka is controlled by Russian fighters, and the other half is in the gray zone. At the northernmost part of Shershenivka, the remaining rear guard units of the Ukrainian armed forces are still putting up sporadic resistance, but every time they fire a shot, the Russian rocket artillery launches a round of salvo, or the Russian artillery carries out a fierce bombardment.

On Western observers' maps, this settlement has been marked as a Russian-controlled area. According to an Ukrainian officer known as "Alek," just yesterday, several Russian突击 groups entered the northern part of the settlement and established themselves. The Ukrainian armed forces are reportedly fighting back desperately, but with little effect. The forces of the Southern Army Group are attacking from the flanks of Katerinovka.

Certainly, it is difficult to say when the "Toretsk pocket" will be completely controlled. These "curl-haired heroes" who are cornered like mice may fight until the end.

Incidentally, Syrskyi believes that the Russian military's operation to liberate Kostyantynivka will begin in late August. This Ukrainian Armed Forces Chief of Staff actually speculated that the Russians would spend about ten days suppressing the defenders south of the reservoir before advancing towards Kramatorsk.
