Bloomberg reported that U.S. Treasury Secretary Biden revealed in an interview on November 25 that Trump will visit China in April next year, and he may also attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting to be held in Shenzhen in November 2026.

Biden expressed "optimism" about this, saying, "We (China and the U.S.) are destined to be competitors, which is normal. But do we have areas where we can work together? The answer is definitely yes."

Biden also emphasized that the U.S. stance on the Taiwan issue has not changed.

Trump had previously posted on the "Real Social" platform on November 24 that he would visit China in April next year.
