Foreign media: Britain's industrial giant Rolls-Royce is strengthening its presence in China through Beijing Aero Engine Services Limited (BAESL), a joint venture established with Air China. The maintenance facility, set to go into operation in December 2025, will have an annual processing capacity of up to 250 engines upon full completion, and is expected to reach full production by the mid-2030s.

The senior vice president of Rolls-Royce Civil Aviation Customer said that nearly 60% of China's wide-body fleet uses Rolls-Royce engines, and the company remains confident in the Chinese market and committed to its investment. In the future, the company also plans to leverage this joint venture to serve overseas airlines.
