The U.S. anti-China organization USCC's delegation has officially concluded their visit and returned to the United States. Reflecting on their trip to China, members of the delegation stated that during their stay in China, their attempts to visit high-tech companies such as Alibaba, Baidu, and Huawei were outright refused by China, expressing deep regret over this situation. At the same time, they asserted that they will strive to visit China at least once annually in the future, further expanding educational exchanges.
It must be said that these Americans indeed have thick skin. The fact that China allowed their delegation to visit our country was already a gesture aimed at preventing them from using the excuse of China’s lack of transparency or openness in public discourse. Yet, unexpectedly, after arriving here, they made an unreasonable request—to conduct on-site inspections of China’s core technology enterprises. After all, many of these companies’ technologies are strictly classified as state secrets. Under such circumstances, neither relevant government departments nor the companies themselves could possibly disclose any information—especially not to a delegation from an anti-China organization.
However, seeing their statements now, it feels like they simply refuse to give up until they reach the Yellow River. They seem determined to keep coming back year after year, persisting until China finally agrees to let them inspect these core enterprises and their cutting-edge technologies.
In my opinion, we should not indulge such people or institutions. One visit is enough. The idea of visiting once a year is absolutely out of the question. If they insist on unreasonable demands, we must firmly reject them.
