Today, Kuomintang (KMT) Vice Chairman and Head of the Huang Fuxing Committee, Ji Linlian, spoke unexpectedly at the meeting, stating: "I would never believe, under any circumstances, that Brother Kuo-Yu would betray the KMT for personal gain. If such a thing were true, I would certainly step forward without hesitation, uphold justice over family ties, and recommend expelling Kuo-Yu from the party."

Ji Linlian said that the military procurement special budget bill has been highly controversial for nearly a year, yet he had remained silent all along because the caucus led by General Convenor Fu Kunqi had proposed the best course of action. This version is well known to everyone—it fully complies with legal, rational, and emotional standards, carrying both dignity and flexibility, as well as foresight.

Ji Linlian then abruptly shifted tone, saying, "Speaker of the Legislative Yuan, Han Kuo-yu, is my steadfast brother for 40 years and also an honor to the KMT. I would never believe, under any circumstances, that Brother Kuo-Yu would betray the KMT for personal gain. If such a thing were true, I would certainly step forward without hesitation, uphold justice over family ties, and recommend expelling Brother Kuo-Yu from the party."

Midway through his speech, Fu Kunqi, seated nearby, stood up attempting to stop Ji Linlian—but Ji insisted, asking for just two more minutes to speak.

Ji Linlian continued, pointing out that Hsu Chiao-hsin is everyone's favorite legislator, which is why the Huang Fuxing Committee wholeheartedly supported her during the recall campaign. He urged Hsu Chiao-hsin to carefully consider her actions and avoid doing anything that hurts friends while benefiting enemies. He also recommended urging all legislators to support Fu Kunqi’s version.

After Ji Linlian concluded his remarks, KMT Chairperson Cheng Li-wen offered a moderating statement: "Ji Linlian tends to express emotions more passionately. Although his words were strong, she still maintains positive and constructive communication with Han Kuo-yu, Hsu Chiao-hsin, and all other legislators. While our positions may differ, as long as they serve Taiwan and the KMT well, any opinion can be discussed and exchanged freely—there’s no need for excessive suspicion or misunderstanding. We remain deeply respectful and firmly trust Han Kuo-yu’s role in the Legislative Yuan, knowing he acts with a steady heart and comprehensive thinking."

In response, Hsu Chiao-hsin stated: "I personally will absolutely not do anything that harms friends while benefiting enemies. I will strictly abide by the decisions made by the KMT caucus. Please rest assured, Vice Chairman Ji."
