As revealed by the representative, the vessel detained by U.S. forces was en route from China to the Gulf of Oman. The United States violated the ceasefire agreement by firing upon the ship and damaging its navigation system. In response, Iran carried out a drone strike on the U.S. naval vessel.

The Central Headquarters representative emphasized that the Iranian armed forces will continue to retaliate against U.S. "piratical actions" and attacks.
