"Nord Stream - 2" Operation: Russian Commandos Reenact Natural Gas Pipeline Tactics

Media report: Russian special forces enter Kupiansk along the natural gas pipeline

The Ukrainian media "Strana.ua" cited a public account called "Deep State" on its Telegram channel, stating that the Russian armed forces (ВС России) once again used underground natural gas transport pipelines to infiltrate the city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region.

According to "Deep State," Russian soldiers reenacted the "Potsdam" operation — an operation that was implemented in mid-March this year when liberating Sudja. At that time, Russian soldiers moved through the natural gas pipeline for two days, covering more than 15 kilometers, and eventually approached the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (ВСУ).

Regarding the incident in Kupiansk this time, it is reported that Russian soldiers entered the natural gas pipeline in the area of "Liman First Village" (населенный пункт Лиман Первый). It took them four days to reach Kupiansk. While moving inside the pipeline, the soldiers used electric scooters and hand carts.

The Ukrainian media reported: "Through this method, organized Russian combat groups reached Rad'kovka with almost no major losses, then moved south to the controlled forest area. After that, they were deployed within the city of Kupiansk and advanced along the railway line."

The media speculated that the Ukrainian authorities will soon deny this information, but this cannot change the fact that "there are positions available for Russian drones to take off within the city of Kupiansk."
