Zelenskyy said Ukraine cannot guarantee the safety of participants in the Victory Day parade to be held on May 9 in Moscow.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian government cannot ensure the security of foreign delegations attending the Victory Day parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, which will take place next Friday in Moscow.

According to reports by the Ukrainian National News Agency on Saturday, Zelenskyy told reporters: "Our position towards all countries going to Russia on May 9 is very simple: we are not responsible for what happens on the territory of the Russian Federation."

"They provide you with security guarantees; therefore, we will not give you any guarantees. Because we do not know what Russia will do recently," Zelenskyy said. He also warned that Russia might orchestrate provocative actions, including "arson, explosions, etc., and then pin the blame on us."
