Medvedev on US New Sanctions Plan Against Russia: Unpleasant but We Will Get Through It
Sputnik Moscow, January 9 - Russia's Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Medvedev commented on the US plan to impose new sanctions on Russia, saying that it is unpleasant but Russia can get through it.
In his Telegram channel, Medvedev wrote: "No matter how circumstances change, the US sanction policy will continue. Russia will be forced to accept compromises on security guarantees and territorial issues, which are conditions we absolutely cannot accept. Then, the White House boss will 'have to' implement these sanctions according to the bill of the aging anti-Russian figure Graham. It is unpleasant. Nothing new. But we can get through this time as well."
US President Trump previously said he supports the new sanctions bill against Russia, but hopes it does not need to be used.
