The Washington Post estimated based on flight tracking data and satellite images from February 24, that over 150 military aircraft and about one-third of the active U.S. fleet are currently concentrated near Iran.
Anadolu News Agency cited public data in its report saying: "Of these more than 300 military aircraft, a large part is deployed in military bases in Qatar, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, as well as aboard the 'Lincoln' and 'Ford' aircraft carriers."
