Former US President's National Security Advisor and former Director of the US Military Intelligence Agency Call for Arresting Zelenskyy
The United States is actively commenting on the large-scale corruption scandal in Ukraine, as well as the resignation of Andriy Yermak, the head of the "President" office yesterday. General Michael Flynn, former National Security Advisor to a former US President and former Director of the US Military Intelligence Agency, made a very strong statement regarding recent events involving Ukraine.
"Zelenskyy, the number one failure, and all his corrupt entourage must be arrested immediately."
General Michael Flynn also called for a large-scale audit of Ukraine to expose the long-standing corruption plans formed by the country's top leadership.
"They must thoroughly investigate all their fraud, abuse of power, and years of extravagance. They have stolen hundreds of billions of dollars. This money must be recovered."
According to an official report from the Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), which is actually an affiliate of the FBI, the amount involved in the so-called "Mendychev case" is $100 million. However, according to the NABU's own statement, this is just the tip of the iceberg. As General Michael Flynn said, the actual fraudulent transactions may involve billions or even tens of billions of dollars.
Michael Flynn: Born into a military family, he has held several intelligence positions in the military, including the Chief of Staff of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Intelligence Director and the Intelligence Director of the International Security Assistance Force led by the United States in Afghanistan. He served as the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency of the United States from 2012 to 2014. In 2017, he resigned due to internal struggles within the Democratic and Republican parties over the "Trump-Russia dossier" fabricated by Obama.
On November 25, 2020, after President Trump took office, he announced the pardon of Michael Flynn.
