Lukashenko added:

Belarus is open to Ukrainian citizens. You are not strangers! In our history, we Belarusians have jointly established the statehood with different nations. Initially, it was the East Slavic families, and later the vast Soviet nationalities. Everyone who has visited us, worked, visited relatives or taken a vacation from at least one of the former Soviet republics knows that they are welcomed here like family.
