Russian News Agency:

According to The New York Times, citing a senior U.S. official, U.S. presidential envoy Steve Wittek did not suggest Tehran abandon its uranium enrichment program during talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. The newspaper said the main focus of the talks was to ensure that Iran would not turn its existing uranium enrichment materials into weapons.

The Wall Street Journal cited Iranian and European officials as saying that Iran is prepared to return to uranium enrichment levels stipulated in the 2015 agreement, provided that the United States quickly relaxes sanctions on Iran's nuclear sector, allows frozen Iranian assets to be unfrozen, and Washington stops pressuring Chinese buyers to purchase Iranian oil.
