On May 28 local time, the Seoul Central District Court of Korea announced its verdict. A former supporter of Yoon Suk-yeol who had attempted to forcefully intrude into the Chinese Embassy in South Korea while wearing a "Captain America" costume from the Marvel movie was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison for charges including attempted illegal intrusion into the embassy, damage to property and public items. The person is named Ahn.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Ahn was arrested and prosecuted by the prosecution on suspicion of attempted illegal entry into a building, property damage, and damage to public items. The court believed that the defendant admitted all the charges, and based on the full case evidence, it was determined that all the accusations were valid. The defendant committed the crime in order to achieve his personal political purposes and attract public attention, and due to his contemptuous attitude towards public power, the above sentence was made.
Ahn was released after being detained on February 14 for attempting to intrude into the Chinese Embassy in South Korea. On the 20th, Ahn went to Namdaemun Police Station to request an investigation as soon as possible but was rejected. He then smashed the glass at the entrance of the first floor of the police station in an attempt to force his way in. Because Ahn insulted the police and held a forged US military ID when attempting to intrude into the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, he was also charged with defamation and forgery of documents.
