[Georgian Prime Minister: Georgia Should Take Superpower China as a Role Model]
On June 5, the Eurasian Daily reported that Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze referred to China as a superpower and stated that Georgia should take it as a role model. He pointed out that China has not been involved in any war in the past 45 years, and its actions have always focused on progress, modernization, and economic development since the very beginning, with results that are evident to all.
Kobakhidze emphasized that China plays an important role in maintaining regional and even global peace, calling on the international community to recognize its significant role again. Since becoming strategic partners in 2023, cooperation between the two countries has continued to deepen.
In addition, on June 4, the United Nations General Assembly passed for the 18th time a resolution initiated by Georgia, confirming that all refugees and "internally displaced persons" have the right to return to Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The resolution was passed with the support of 107 countries, while China abstained from voting. China has always recognized "Georgia's territorial integrity."
