According to the Washington Post, US President Trump's long-held wish to see "soldiers marching and armored vehicles passing" on the streets of the capital is approaching reality. On May 2nd local time, the White House confirmed that Trump plans to hold a parade this summer to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the US Army.
It is reported that the parade is scheduled to take place on June 14th local time, which is the 250th anniversary of the founding of the US Army. Coincidentally, it is also Trump's 79th birthday.
