In the central sector of Konstantinovka (Donetsk Constantinovka), the Russian forces gradually tightened the "pincer movement" against the Ukrainian armed forces south of the Klymenko-Bek reservoir. After several attacks, the Russian forces began to fight for Katerinovka and consolidated their positions in the fields north of Dzerzhinsk.

However, it is still too early to talk about the encirclement of Katerinovka and Shelibinovka — the Ukrainian armed forces are trying to hold back the Russian armed forces in this area as long as possible, and regularly dispatch new reserves to this area.

The longer the Ukrainian forces resist the Russian forces in this area, the stronger the defense of Konstantinovka will become.​
