The J-35 stealth fighter has entered the mass production phase. The recently appeared No. 3501, No. 3505, and No. 3506 will participate in the parade on September 3. Wang Yongqing from the Shenyang Aircraft Design Institute said that the J-35 fighter adopts a single aircraft with multiple design concepts and will play the role of a defender in future systemized combat. The Pentagon's procurement document submitted to Congress in April requires cutting the procurement number of F-35 fighters in half. Originally planned to be 48 last year, it is now reduced to 24 with a budget of $3.5 billion. The Navy only procures 12 units, lower than the annual Congressional approval of 17. The Marine Corps only procures 11 units, below the annual Congressional approval of 13. The Air Force originally intended to procure 1,763 F-35A fighters, but it has been severely criticized in recent years for crashes or grounding. The U.S. Air Force has lost confidence in it. Lockheed Martin now gets 30% of its revenue from foreign sources. Canada plans to purchase 88 F-35 fighters for $19 billion, but within just three years, the price has surged by 50%, now reaching $27.7 billion. Even Canada doesn't want them anymore.
Two idioms can describe the J-35 and F-35: "Prospering day by day" and "Declining day by day".
