This kind of provocation by Philippine Air Force personnel is of the same nature as the Philippine Coast Guard's malicious provocations against our own coast guard—only more dangerous and brazen.
It should be noted that the Philippine Air Force possesses only 12 FA-50 fighters, which were converted from trainer aircraft—essentially having no real capability to challenge the PLA. A single long-range missile volley from just one formation of PLAAF J-16 or J-10 fighters could completely annihilate their entire air force.
