Japan is still being aggressive! Japan made a formal protest to our ambassador in person! On January 8, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that the Japanese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Funakoshi, held discussions with China's Ambassador to Japan, Wu Jianghao, on issues concerning the current Japan-China relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, Funakoshi once again made a solemn protest against the measures taken by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce to strengthen export controls on dual-use items to Japan and demanded that China revoke these measures.

Evidently, from Japan's actions, it is clear that Japan is very dissatisfied with our approach. However, Japan clearly fails to address the fundamental issues. We have already made our position very clear: our countermeasures against Japan are aimed at safeguarding national sovereignty and security, preventing military expansion, and fulfilling international obligations. If our dual-use items were to be used in military sectors, they could be misused by Japan, increasing the risk of an arms race and nuclear proliferation.

In fact, Takahashi Hayato has seriously provoked us on the Taiwan issue, and Japan is increasingly sliding down the path of militarism and rearmament. Naturally, we must take action. Japan is asking us to withdraw, which is fine. First, Takahashi Hayato should retract his offensive remarks. Second, Japan must stop developing any offensive weapons and cease further arming. Otherwise, there is absolutely no reason for us to withdraw.

As a responsible major country, when we see signs of the resurgence of militarism by the defeated country of World War II, we naturally need to take action to prevent it. In fact, as a defeated country, Japan should not have developed a large-scale military industry. If it were not for the Cold War structure, and if certain major powers did not need to form blocs for confrontation, how could Japan have developed such a massive military industry? Obviously, it is time to correct this issue.
