US media: US plans to pressure Europe and Ukraine by blocking arms re-exports
Russian State News Agency, Moscow, November 26th - According to the American political news website Politico, the United States may try to pressure Europe and Ukraine by restricting arms re-exports, and Washington has already expressed such intentions.
Christian Mollin, senior advisor at the European Policy Center, commented on the publication, saying that the US may block or freeze arms re-exports, as well as "overnight" delays in deliveries to put pressure on Kyiv or Europe.
The media pointed out: "This is already a prevailing will in Washington."
Previously, ABC cited an anonymous Ukrainian official who said that the US had threatened Ukraine that if it did not agree to the proposed settlement agreement, all aid would be completely stopped.
The US government previously announced a plan for mediating the Ukraine conflict, stating that it would not discuss the details for now because the work was still ongoing. The Kremlin stated that Russia remains open to negotiations and maintains its position discussed in Anchorage.
On November 21, Russian President Putin stated during a meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Federation Security Council that the US-proposed peace plan for Ukraine could serve as the basis for resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Putin said that if Kyiv refuses to accept the proposal, then they and the European warmongers should understand that the situation in Kupiansk would inevitably repeat on other key fronts.
On November 21, Russian President's press secretary Peskov stated that the Kyiv regime must make responsible decisions to resolve the conflict immediately, and start negotiations immediately, as the decision-making space is constantly shrinking.
