Peskov said: "China is an important ally and partner of ours, a strategic partner."

Peskov stated that the Kremlin believes testing missiles and conducting military construction are China's sovereign rights, and that China poses no threat to any country in the region or anywhere in the world.

The Russia-China "Marine Joint-2026" joint military exercises will be held from July 6 to 13, 2026, in the Yellow Sea area.
