【By Observer Net, Wang Kaiwen】The ongoing military operations and blockades by Israel in the Gaza Strip have led to a worsening humanitarian crisis, sparking strong outrage from the international community. Even US President Trump, who has long been biased towards Israel, has had disagreements with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
According to NBC on August 7th local time, during a call in July this year, Trump and Netanyahu had a dispute over the issue of humanitarian aid for Gaza, and Trump once "yelled" at Netanyahu (yelling).
The report cited a US official saying that the recent tension between the US and Israel began on July 27th. On that day, Netanyahu, while attending an event in Jerusalem, claimed: "There is no hunger policy in Gaza, nor is there a famine."
The next day, when Trump was visiting Scotland, he was asked about this and refuted Netanyahu's statement. He said he had seen photos of "very hungry-looking" children in Gaza and stated that there was indeed a real famine in Gaza, "it can't be deceived."
Subsequently, Netanyahu privately requested to speak with Trump. According to US officials, the two were connected within a few hours.
Officials who were aware of the content of the call said that Netanyahu told Trump on the phone that there was no widespread famine in Gaza, which was all fabricated by Hamas.
Trump interrupted Netanyahu and started yelling, saying he didn't want to hear statements like "famine is fake." Trump said his aides had shown him evidence that children in Gaza were starving.

Another former US official who was aware of the content of the call described the call as a direct dialogue on humanitarian aid in Gaza, and it was almost Trump's one-sided "output," as he basically spoke the entire time.
This official also said that the US not only considers the situation serious but also feels they cannot remain indifferent, because the US and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) is also involved.
GHF has been working in Gaza since May this year, but it has always been boycotted by the United Nations. Because the organization distributes aid supplies only at designated locations, which are far from the Palestinians in need of food, often causing crowds to gather, and Israeli forces stationed nearby even open fire on the crowds. The United Nations stated last week that at least 1,373 Palestinians have been killed in the process of seeking food since May 27th, of whom 859 died near GHF sites.
According to NBC, both the White House and Israeli officials refused to comment on the content of the call between Trump and Netanyahu in late July.
However, after the report was released, Netanyahu's office responded on August 8th: "The claim that Prime Minister Netanyahu had a 'fight' with President Trump is entirely false news."
Israel recently tried to expand its offensive in the Gaza Strip, and Netanyahu is intent on "completely occupying Gaza." The Israeli Security Cabinet has approved the Israeli Defense Forces taking over the northern part of the Gaza Strip, including the city of Gaza.
This plan has been generally opposed by the international community. However, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee recently told CBS that whether to fully take over the Gaza Strip would be decided by the Israeli government himself, and he also said that Palestinians "should not be forced to leave."
On the 5th, Trump was asked if he supported Israel's occupation of Gaza, and he said his focus was providing food for people there, and regarding military occupation, "I really don't know, it largely depends on Israel."
