Canada Hypes "Free Domestic Tours"!
Canadian Prime Minister Carrie announced on Saturday the introduction of the "Enhanced Canada Attractions Pass" (Canada Strong Pass), aimed at encouraging families and young people to explore the country's rich natural and cultural resources this summer.
Carrie stated that this new initiative will offer a series of benefits for teenagers under 18, including free admission to national galleries and museums, as well as free travel on VIA Rail trains when accompanied by their parents. He also promised discounts on transportation and attraction tickets, as well as reduced camping fees in national parks for young people aged 18 to 24 between June and August 2025, encouraging more people to enjoy outdoor life.
"In the face of Trump's threats to our economy and sovereignty, Canadians are uniting and rediscovering and celebrating the beauty of our country in new ways," Carrie said in a statement. He noted that the Liberal government will help the next generation better understand Canada's history and culture.
Carrie also revealed that the federal government will work with provinces and regions to promote similar price incentive measures to achieve nationwide welfare sharing.
