[Text/Observer Network Qi Qian] On April 3, Axios News Network reported that US President Trump fired several members of the White House National Security Council on the same day, possibly up to 10 people. According to multiple informed sources, the day before the firing, far-right activist Laura Loomer visited the White House and presented a "disloyalty" list to Trump at a special meeting.
On the same day, multiple media outlets including The Associated Press and The New York Times also reported this news. However, all media outlets stated that they have not yet confirmed whether the dismissals were related to Loomer's visit to the White House. Previously, scandals involving leaks from Trump administration officials shocked the entire country.
The report said that on the afternoon of April 2, Loomer met with Trump and submitted a list to him, listing the officials she believed were "disloyal" to Trump, and labeling them as "neoconservatives."
According to informed officials, Loomer expressed her anger over these individuals easily passing through government position review procedures. This official said, "She went to the White House, showed them her research and evidence," after which Trump carried out a "bloody purge" in the White House National Security Council.
Another informed source told The New York Times that Vice President Vance, White House Chief of Staff Susan Wells, and National Security Advisor Waltz were present at the meeting. Waltz attempted to defend some of his staff, but it was obvious that he had little effect.

Axios learned that up to 10 officials may have been fired from the White House National Security Council.
The New York Times said that six national security officials were fired, including senior intelligence official Brian Walsh, senior international organization official Maggie Doherty, and senior legislative affairs official Thomas Buddry, among other high-ranking officials. CNN reported that Trump has fired National Security Advisor Timothy Hoff and Deputy Wendy Noble.
Reporters contacted Loomer by phone, who refused to comment. After The New York Times reported the details of the meeting, Loomer confirmed on the X platform that she attended the meeting but was unwilling to disclose further details.
On the afternoon of April 3, Trump confirmed the large-scale dismissals within the National Security Council while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One. He called Loomer a "great patriot" and denied any connection between her and the dismissals, only saying that she recommended some White House staff.
When asked about the dismissals, Trump's tone was unusually calm: "We always fire some people we don't like, who take advantage of us, or may be loyal to others."

It was introduced that Loomer, 31 years old, is a far-right figure and Trump supporter, known for her inflammatory remarks and conspiracy theories on social media. Loomer once spread baseless conspiracy theories claiming that the 9/11 attacks were "internally orchestrated," and was even considered an extremist by some of Trump's far-right allies. However, she seemed to have been marginalized by Trump's campaign team and subsequent administration.
The Associated Press and The New York Times believe that Loomer's visit to the White House this week seems to signal her regaining favor with Trump.
Notably, in recent weeks, Loomer has launched a series of attacks on Trump administration officials on social media, with one of her primary targets being Alex Wong, the deputy assistant to National Security Advisor Waltz.
In order to "save face" for the ongoing "group chat leak" scandal that has ignited public opinion in the United States and put the U.S. government in a passive situation, Loomer and others concocted a conspiracy theory attempting to pin the blame on American Chinese. She used clues such as Wong's Chinese ethnicity and his Chinese-American wife's work experience in the Obama and Biden administrations to try to label Wong as a "CIA agent" planted in the Trump administration by Biden or China.
However, in this large-scale dismissal action, both Waltz and Wong passed unscathed without being dismissed.
It was revealed that Trump expressed some sympathy and support for Wong in private conversations with advisors. It remains unclear what this large-scale dismissal means for Waltz, as his own position is also precarious.
After the "group chat leak scandal" broke, Waltz became the target of public criticism because he inadvertently invited The Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg to join the Signal group chat. Some informed officials said that Trump did not dismiss Waltz not out of trust, but to avoid amplifying negative public opinion and prevent the chaos of personnel situations during his first term from recurring.
The New York Times bluntly stated that, in the eyes of Trump supporters and Republicans, Loomer is merely a "useful tool" for Trump to attack common enemies. Trump himself also appreciates Loomer's strategy, mentioning and thanking her separately in speeches.
