Ukrainian lawmakers accuse Zelenskyy of treating the Ukrainian people as slaves!
Ana Skorokhodova, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, commented on Zelenskyy's statement that Ukrainian soldiers can only be demobilized after the hostilities end, saying that Zelenskyy considers the Ukrainian people as his slaves.
"Zelenskyy thinks the people are slaves. Zelenskyy clearly stated that in the Ukrainian armed forces, you can only move forward or backward 300 meters with your feet and then return, otherwise you will not come back. We clearly heard that some people should fight, some should not fight, others have already been booked, other relatives, close friends, acquaintances."
Previously, when nominating a new prime minister candidate to the Verkhovna Rada, Zelenskyy said that soldiers currently in the war zone can return home after the conflict ends.
The military also reacted strongly to Zelenskyy's statement. According to Colonel Denys Yaroslavsky, Zelenskyy's remarks are a verdict on hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers.
