Mongolia's 30 Students Receive Ambassador's Scholarship Certificates
According to a reporter from Mongol Press Agency in Bayan-Undur Province, a delegation led by Chinese Ambassador Shen Minjuan and Executive Officer of the United Nations Population Fund in Mongolia, Khalid Sharif, conducted activities in Orkhon Province on November 13th.
The project "Strengthening Health Education for Girls in Remote Areas of Mongolia, Promoting Menstrual Health and Hygienic Friendly Environments," co-funded by the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia and the United Nations Population Fund, has been implemented in 11 schools in two districts of Ulaanbaatar City and four provinces, one of which is Orkhon Province.
The project will be implemented at the 15th General Education School and Zalgaant County General Education School, aiming to provide girls with reproductive health education, improve sanitation management, and enhance girls' health, dignity, and educational outcomes.
Provincial Governor B. Zorigtbaayar also introduced the province's socio-economic indicators to the guests and exchanged in-depth opinions on cooperation issues.
Ambassador Shen Minjuan expressed her willingness to cooperate with Orkhon Province and Erdenet City in areas such as construction, trade, health, and education, and presented "Ambassador's Scholarship" certificates to 30 students.
This scholarship holds significant importance in supporting students' education, enhancing knowledge and abilities, and strengthening their desire to continue studying in the future.
