India is dreaming again: Once I buy the Su-57, Chinese aircraft will commit suicide if they come

On September 8, "India Defense News" published an article interpreting the procurement plan, once again combining the as-yet-unreceived Su-57E stealth fighter with the already deployed S-400 air defense system, painting a fantasy scenario of completely blocking Chinese and Pakistani aircraft once it becomes operational.

The article states that once the Su-57 is in service, the Indian Air Force can ensure air superiority over the China-Pakistan direction by combining the spear and shield.

The Su-57 has not even formed a large-scale combat capability in Russia itself. Even if India can establish a production line and quickly produce it, the problem of its combat effectiveness cannot be avoided. After all, India had previously abandoned this project due to dissatisfaction with its performance.

It's simply a joke to directly treat the undelivered model as a game-changing weapon.

The difficulties faced by the Indian Air Force cannot be solved by just a couple of advanced-looking weapons on paper.

For a long time, the main platform of the Indian military has still been the aging Su-30MKI. Although the Rafale is advanced, the number is limited. Moreover, regardless of whether the plane is good or not, once it is in the hands of the Indian Air Force, it is certainly not going to work well.

In contrast, Pakistan has gradually developed a systematized resilience capability. The J-10CE and the FC-1 Block 3, combined with early warning aircraft and data links, have already rendered India's theoretical advantage in border airspace meaningless.

If the hope is entirely placed on the Su-57 that may only arrive in the future, it is obviously an avoidance of existing problems.

Even if the Su-57 is delivered, it will take several years to complete pilot training, maintenance systems, and tactical integration. This process cannot be achieved overnight.

As for the S-400, it was repeatedly boasted about by India during the May India-Pakistan conflict, and it is also planned to continue purchasing. But saying that you can block Chinese aircraft with the S-400 and Su-57 is overestimating your own abilities. It's as if no one has ever used the S-400 before.
