Sputnik, Moscow, February 27 - Afghanistan's Ministry of Defense stated on the social media platform X that the Afghan Air Force carried out an attack on a Pakistani military base.
The statement said: "Around 11:00 (9:30 a.m. Moscow time - editor's note), the air force of the Ministry of Defense conducted an aerial strike on a camp near Nowshehra, the Nowshehra military region, the Jamrud military base, and Abbottabad."
The statement noted that the operation was carried out smoothly, "key military facilities, centers, and fortifications of the Pakistani army were destroyed."
The statement also said: "This strike is a response to the Pakistani military's air raids in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia early in the morning."
