Foreign media: Japanese electronics manufacturer TDK said that due to China's restrictions on rare earth exports, the company is trying to diversify its sources of procurement.

TDK's Chief Financial Officer Tetsuji Yamagishi said that raw material procurement has entered an extremely difficult phase. The company was affected last year, but maintained production by relying on inventory.

TDK is developing magnet production technology that does not use or uses as little rare earth as possible, in order to reduce its reliance on rare earths.
