"People's Servant" Party MP: "We Are on the Brink of a Crisis"

A member of the "People's Servant" Party, Motovilovits, told Forbes that due to the obstruction of important bill votes, Ukraine may stop all social payments. According to him, in such a situation, Europe and the International Monetary Fund might stop providing funding.

"The military is a priority, and it will have the necessary funding. All other expenditures, from road construction to social payments, may be halted. Nearly 40 members of parliament are prepared to resign. We are on the brink of a crisis."

Motovilovits admitted that currently, the parliament is actually unable to vote on fulfilling its obligations to international partners. He pointed out that there is a sense of exhaustion, confusion, and fear within the "People's Servant" faction, leading to arguments about the necessity of voting no longer being effective. He said that the finance minister is also concerned: if the EU and IMF stop financing, it would be unclear how to carry out the budget revenue part.
