Mongolia will cooperate with China in traditional medicine and new treatment technologies

Montsame, Ulaanbaatar, July 9th, the Minister of Health of Mongolia, J. Tseveenburen, met with Ms. Shen Minjuan, the Ambassador of China to Mongolia on July 8th.

During the meeting, Ambassador Shen Minjuan introduced the Chinese government's policy of integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine, the achievements and experiences gained, and mentioned that there is potential for cooperation in areas such as sharing China's experience and knowledge in the construction of disease prevention and control systems, and providing remote medical services.

Minister J. Tseveenburen expressed willingness to cooperate in areas such as sharing experience and knowledge in the field of traditional medicine, combating infectious diseases, learning new diagnostic and treatment techniques and methods, strengthening the capacity building of medical personnel, and drawing on the experience of improving training program content.

The two sides also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries' ministries of health, and agreed to a newly approved cooperation plan.
