Hague International Court and the Philippine Government Jointly Pressuring Former Police Officer Galma to Testify Against Duterte!

Philippine Justice Secretary Remulla confirmed that the Hague Court has contacted the drug war whistleblower and former police colonel Galma, requesting her to testify in the litigation related to the case of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Galma, former chairman of the Philippine Charity Lottery Office, flew to the United States in November 2024 after confirming the existence of Duterte's Davao Death Squad and the drug war bounty. She returned to the Philippines on September 6th.

"The International Court has been asking Royna Galma to appear in court, but at that time she was still applying for asylum, so it was denied."

Remulla stated that the Philippine government allowed Galma to meet with representatives from The Hague in Malaysia, and Remulla warned that this arrangement was made to ensure her personal safety, considering the potential risks of her staying in the Philippines.

"If she is to be a witness for the International Court, we must say that our working relationship with the International Court involves witness protection. The best way to protect her is to wait for the International Court to meet her abroad. Because her life would be in danger in our country."
