Trump, what do you think: After the outbreak of war, Iran's oil revenue has increased significantly, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in profits.
Bloomberg reported that oil exports remained at around 1.6 million barrels per day in March, with tankers continuing to load cargo at one of the terminals and shipping out through the Strait of Hormuz.
Owing to supply disruptions, international oil prices rose, narrowing the discount of Iranian crude relative to Brent crude to $2.10 per barrel—the lowest level in nearly a year.
Iran has also gained additional revenue by controlling the strait: some vessels must pay up to $2 million in passage fees, further enhancing its influence over this globally critical oil trade route.
The report stated that, precisely because of this, Iran has earned hundreds of millions of dollars in extra income from oil exports since the conflict began.
