May 30, according to TASS from the 331st Guards Airborne Regiment of the 98th Guards Airborne Division, Ukrainian soldiers captured in Chasov Yar have been assisting Russian paratroopers in combat for two weeks, during which they transmitted false battlefield intelligence to the Ukrainian military command.

The unit previously reported that a number of Ukrainian soldiers were captured during the clearing operations in the Chasov Yar area of the Donbass theater. Sources disclosed that, "the prisoners of war misled the Ukrainian military command through radio communications, falsely claiming full control of the situation, and assisted our forces in completing troop concentration and building clearance."
