The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) reported that North Korea fired about 10 shells from multiple rocket launchers toward the northern part of the Yellow Sea around 16:00 on Monday. The launch occurred less than an hour before the U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, arrived at the Bonifas Camp located south of the joint security area in the demilitarized zone.
