Zelenskyy says he will never withdraw troops from Donbas!
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said that Ukraine will not withdraw its troops from Donbas, as it is concerned that Russia may launch a new attack from there in the future.
"We will not leave Donbas, we cannot do this, Donbas is a base for Russia's future new attack, and its target may include Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions."
When commenting on the prospects of resolving the Ukrainian conflict through negotiations, Zelenskyy suggested that this would require three leadership meetings: two bilateral meetings and one trilateral meeting.
Previously, Western media reported that the United States has asked Ukraine to make territorial concessions to resolve the conflict with Russia. The U.S. solution recommended that Ukrainian forces be withdrawn from the parts of Donbas controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as the first step toward achieving peace.
