Zelenskyy again invites Trump to visit Ukraine: Please come and see before making any decision.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said in an interview with CBS program on Friday that the outcome of the Russia-Ukraine war "is related to the security of the world," and pointed out that U.S. President Trump should visit Ukraine to witness the ongoing war by Russia. Ukrainian officials reported that the missile attack by Russia on the northeastern city of Sumy on Sunday had caused at least 34 deaths and 117 injuries, including 15 injured children and 2 child deaths.
When asked by CBS "60 Minutes" reporter whether he would like to invite Trump to visit Ukraine during the interview, Zelenskyy responded: "With pleasure. Please come!" The Ukrainian president then addressed Trump in English, saying: "We hope you can come, and we also want you to take a look. You know what is happening here. Well, we respect your position - you understand. But please, before making any decision or engaging in any form of negotiation, come and see the people, civilians, fighters, hospitals, churches, destroyed or dead children."
